Children’s Home Society of Washington (CHSW) provides a comprehensive network of care to 39,000 children and families each year that builds nurturing and stable families; fosters effective parenting; improves school readiness; develops social and emotional competence; and works to keep children safe and secure. CHSW’s core services include: adoption, early learning, foster care, family support, child and family counseling, and advocacy.
In the Vancouver area, CHSW provides services to local children and families at two locations:
East County Family Resource Center (Washougal)

Vancouver Family Center
Family support, early learning, and child and family counseling programs
Self Enhancement, Inc. (SEI), a non-profit organization supporting at-risk urban youth. Working with schools, families and community organizations, SEI provides opportunities for personal and academic success, bringing hope to individual young people and enhancing the quality of community life.
