Outside In is a nonprofit organization that helps homeless youth and other marginalized people move towards improved health and self-sufficiency by providing social and medical services. Founded in 1968, Outside In has continually revised their services to meet changing client needs and provide individualized support for homeless youth. Their services include programs in housing, education, employment, counseling, medical care, healthy meals, recreation and art, and safety off the streets.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center, Outside In provides 20,000 medical visits each year to area homeless youth. Outside In’s medical clinic is a teaching site for medical students of Oregon Health Science University, Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, and the National College of Natural Medicine. 70% of Outside In’s clinical staff is bilingual and bicultural and a dedicated Spanish interpreter is always available.

Pacific Psychology & Comprehensive Health Clinic provides affordable and accessible outpatient assessment, therapy, and primary care services to children, adults, couples and families at our clinics in downtown Portland and Hillsboro. We are committed to making psychological services affordable and accessible to all eligible clients and welcome those from all ages, ethnicities, socioeconomic backgrounds, religions and sexual orientations. We also provide services in Spanish.
Regular counseling and therapy sessions are offered at a sliding scale fee if you are uninsured. For patients with insurance, we will match your co-pay. The initial intake appointment is $50.
Free mental health screenings are available at our Hillsboro clinic the second Monday of each month. Please call for an appointment.
Planned Parenthood has three facilities throughout the Greater Metro area including Northeast Portland, Southeast Portland, and Beaverton. Multiple insurance plans accepted. If you don’t have insurance, you may be able to get covered under Obamacare. With or without insurance, you can always come to us for your health care.

Q Center provides a safe space to support and celebrate LGBTQ diversity, equity, visibility and community building. Q Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization which offers multi-generational programs and services in four core areas: Arts & Culture; Education & Training; Health & Wellness and Advocacy.

The center also provides private and group counseling sessions related to Addiction Support and Recovery.
SMART Recovery is a science-based addiction recovery support group—where participants learn self-empowering techniques to aid their recovery through mutual-help face-to-face and online meetings and services. The SMART Recovery goal is for you to achieve a healthy, positive and balanced lifestyle free from addictive behavior. SMART Recovery encourages you to use tools and techniques to help you overcome a variety of addictive behaviors. SMART Recovery meetings are free; a donation to offset costs is encouraged.
Quest Center for Integrative Health is a nonprofit, community-based health center. Originally a psychosocial support service provider for people living with HIV/AIDS, Quest Center has expanded to include all people affected by illnesses and chronic pain, and a medical/wellness component with a holistic focus.
Most services are covered by Ryan White funds for the un- or underinsured HIV+ individuals. We also provide on-going support in the form of individual counseling, group support, peer mentoring, retreats, social gatherings, and home visitation.

Our Individual Treatment Program offers clients help with issues of depression, anxiety, substance abuse and many other challenges to mental health well-being facing people today.
Counseling is offered at a sliding scale from $5-$30, however, nobody is turned away due to inability to pay.
